The Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) and the Quest Science for South Africa magazine have joined forces with various stakeholders to present to all South Africans, but specifically schools in northern KwaZulu-Natal (Ingwavuma and Ndumu) a jam packed and very exciting programme, aligned with the NSW theme for 2022: “Celebrating the role of Basic Sciences in the Modern World”. Funding was made available by the NRF SAASTA.
Topics covered include digital wellness (technology, cyberbullying), building resilience, water and sanitation, and the history of numbers. The full programme with links to connect via Zoom can be accessed here.
