Panel discussion in the weekly NITheCS colloquium timeslot. The following people will participate as panellists: Prof Sarah Blyth (UCT), Dr Mary-Jane Bopape (SAEON), Prof Himla Soodyall (ASSAf) and Prof Özlem Tastan Bishop (RU).

The discussion is about one of the themes of the IYBSSD2022, namely ‘‘Strengthening the presence and the visibility of women’ in basic sciences and sustainable development,

This discussion will encourage women to enter and grow careers in the basic sciences and sustainable development by acknowledging the roles of the panellists and their contribution to their organisation and wider society.
